School Incident Reporting
A school incident reporting system will ensure that parents are kept informed of incidents that happen to their children
- A simple yet formal system for recording all incidents and minor accidents occuring to pupils, during the school day.
A master record and the incident report for the parent is created at the same time, cutting down on extra work preparing letters for parents.
A permanent record of incidents and any first aid given is retained on the schools copy of the incident report
By completing the incident slip with details such as pupil name, date, incident type, treatment administered etc. a master record of all incidents is automatically created.
The incident slip is sent home at the end of the day with the child, thus ensuring that the parent/guardian is fully aware of the incident.
The master incident reporting record is kept by the school can be used to identify trends and recurring problems.
